Elizabeth (Easton) Stilburn was born in Yorkshire, England.
Elizabeth was born and baptised in 1719 in Pocklington, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of John Easton and Bridget Linton.[1]

In 1744 Elizabeth married John Stilburn.[2] Their children were:

  • John, 1745
  • Ann, 1747
  • Mary, 1750

Elizabeth was due to benefit from her father's will (he died in 1757), but would have to wait until her stepmother, Ann, had died (she survived until 1765):[3]

"I give the Sum of Five pounds to Elizabeth Stilbourn my Daughter to be paid to her immediately after the decease of Ann Easton my Wife..." [4]
