Nicholas Easton was born on February 24, 1668, son of Nicholas Easton and Elizabeth (Barker) Easton. [1][2][3]
He was called Captain, and was likely a mariner. [3]
He married by about 1693, Mary Holmes, daughter of Jonathan and Sarah (Borden) Holmes.

Nicholas died on May 11, 1711. [4][3] His memorial at Easton Lot, Middletown, Newport, Rhode Island is inscribed: Here Lie Interred The Remains Of Capt. Nicholas Easton Commissioned 1707 For The Attack On Annapolis Died 1711 Aged 45 Years And of His Wife Mary Who Survived Him Many Years[5][6]
His will is dated 28 September 1709 and proved on 4 June 1711 in Newport.[7] His date of death 11 May 1711 is recorded under his inventory which was taken on 4 June 1711.[7]
Widow Mary died on December 12, 1741 at the home of her son-in-law John Taylor. She was aged 77. [4][3]
