Biography
Herbert Stainburn EASTWOOD was born in 1880 in Armley, Yorkshire, England[1]. He is the son of Henry Eastwood and Elizabeth Viner.
The steamship, Pathan set sail from London, England on 13 June 1883, with stops at Plymouth, 16 June; Malta, 24 June; Suez 29 June; Colombo 12 July; Albany, Western Australia 29 July and Adelaide, South Australia 1 August with the EASTWOOD family among the immigrant passengers and arrived in Hobson's Bay, Colony of Victoria on 3 August where the family disembarked[2][3]. The steamship continued on to Port Jackson, Colony of New South Wales on 9 August 1883. The EASTWOOD family consisted of parents H. I. (Henry Ibbotson but incorrectly listed as H. J.) (age 31, Plasterer) and Mrs. H. (Elizabeth) (29) and their children Henry (incorrectly transcribed as Harvey) (9), Bertie (7), John (5) and Herbert (3).
Amelia Johanna Josephine LINDLEY and Herbert Stainburn EASTWOOD were married in 1916 in Victoria, Australia[4].

DEATHS
EASTWOOD.— On the 2nd November, at the Alfred Hospital, Herbert Stainburn, dearly beloved husband of Amelia J. Eastwood, loving father of Herbert, Valma and Berryl, son of Elizabeth and the late Henry I. Eastwood, brother of Harry, Bertie, John, Polly and William, brother-in-law of May, Carrie, Irene and Mr. D. Shepherd, interred in Brighton cemetery. [7]
