Elizabeth was born about 1780 in Vermont. She married Jonas A Ashley. They lived in New York for a period before relocating to Ohio before 1830, when the family was in Crawford County, Ohio.
In 1850, Jonas (75, VT) and Elizabeth (70, VT) were in Auburn Township, Crawford County, Ohio.[1] Jonas passed away in 1852, and at the time of the 1860 Census, Elizabeth was widowed and in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, David and Clarissa Aumend.[2]
Elizabeth passed away shortly after the census was taken and is buried at Hanna Cemetery in Crawford County, Ohio.[3]
