Biography
Mr. Eaton married Belle S. Sanders of Ontario (NY) and in 1905 the couple moved to Perry (NY) where he became a partner in a hardware store. Later he became engaged in the dry goods business. From 1912 to 1920 he was a automobile dealership. In 1920 he formed a partnership with John Grieve and acquired the Hart & Grieve undertaking business. In 1924 he became sole owner. Later he was joined by his son, Stanley, operating the C.F. Eaton & Son Funeral Home in Perry. Mr. Eaton served on the Board of Education, Perry Town Board, Rotary Club, Perry Baptist Church, F. & A.M., Perry Club and the Perry Fire Dept.
