Mark Stiles and Mary Louisa Eaton were married in Church Hanborough, Oxfordshire on 28th October 1872[2]. They were bachelor and spinster and both living in Hanborough at the time. Mark was 22, a labourer and the son of William Styles who was a labourer. Mary was 19, a gloveress and the daughter of Thomas Eaton who was a labourer. They each signed their own name on the register (Mark spelling his surname as Stiles) and the witnesses to the marriage were Luke Styles and Ann Stiles[3].
