Note N58EAVES, Davidson & Malindy to Susan Eaves (Deed) Deed - EAVES, Davidson & Malindy to Susan Eaves - NOTE: DOUBLE-SLASHES (//) Indicate a beginning of a new line. // TRANSCRIPT OF DEED - 9 July 1859 // Limestone Co, Alabama // Deed Book 10, Page 399 // Deed: Davis Eaves To Susan Hardin // This Indenture made this 9th day of July in the year one thousand and eight hundred and fifty nine, between Davis Eaves and Malindy Eaves his wife of the Co of Limestone in the State of Alabama of the one part and Susan Hardin of the other part of the Co of Limestone, State of Alabama of the other part of the other part [sic]. Witnesseth: that the said Davis Eaves and Malindy Eaves his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty one dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has on this day given, Granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, affirmed and confirm; and by these presents do give, Grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, confirm unto the said Susan Hardin all that certain tract of land, lying and being in the Co of Limestone and State of Alabama, to wit, the North West quarter of the North West quarter of fraction section twelve in Township one in Range four west containing in all forty acres, and also the South West quarter of the North West quarter of fractional twelve in Township one of range four west containing forty acres more or less. To have and to hold the above described lands with the tenaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said Susan Hardin her heirs and assigns forever. And the said Davis Eaves and Malindy Eaves for their heirs, executors and administrators do hereby and in consideration of the premises warrant and will forever defend the title to the above described and hereby Granted premises, unto the said Susan Hardin her heirs and assigns from and against - and all and every person or persons claiming or holding under them the said Davis Eaves and Malindy Eaves his wife, and also against the lawful title, claim, or demand of all and every person or persons whomsoever claiming or holding by, from or under the Government of the United States.
