Levi was baptised at St Wulfrum, Grantham on the 14th of March 1818. He was the son of paper-maker Robert Ebbans and Elizabeth, who were living at 'Spittlegate' at the time.[1][2]
Research Notes
appears to be the same person who appears at Wrotham, Kent on the 1841 census as 'Levy Ebbins'. The other 'Ebbins' may be siblings.[3]
