Mary was the unmarried mother of Thomas Ebben. Thomas was born in February 1822 and publicly baptised on the 16th of June at All Saints, Old Buckenham.^[1][2]

She appears three times in the Overseer's accounts of Old Buckenham as receiving a disbursement - from April 4 1822 to Mar 29 1823.^{[3] [4][5]}
