J. C. EBERHART DIES AT HOME
County Farmer Dead After Long Illness
Jefferson C. Eberhart, 81, Shelby county farmer, died at his home eight miles southwest of Shelbyville at 3:00 p.m. Thursday after an illness of several years. The son of Andrew and Barbara Osborne Eberhart, he was born in Jackson township October 1, 1864. He was married to Agnes M. Brand on June 29, 1887. Mr. Eberhart was a member of the Flat Rock Methodist Church. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Raymond Eberhart, of near Fenns, Maurice and John, both at home; and a brother, James D. Eberhart, of Jackson township. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night, but will be announced by Morris H. Sleeth. Contributed by Phyllis Miller Fleming
