It’s Germany Project check-in time again! Please respond within the next 2 weeks and let me know if you’re still interested in participating with the Project. Remember, the only requirements for membership in the Germany Project are (1) that you work on at least one German profile every 6 months and (2) that you respond to this check-in.
Since you’re not working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams yet, please look at our main Project page for a full list and let me know which team you’d like to join.
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. In your response, we welcome any feedback you may want to give on the project (what you like about it, what you’d like to see us do, what we could change, etc.)
If you ever have any questions, please ask. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Although most of my ancestors are German, I don't speak German, live in Germany, nor have access to German documents. I really can't help with German projects, so I probably should drop out of this project. If you can use me for anything specific, please let me know. I'm very happy to help.
The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.
Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!
If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.
REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) I see you've added German_Roots (our old project name) to your G2G tags, you should also add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).
Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.
Thanks for the suggestion to merge the two Neely profiles. The suggestion is correct, they are both my father. Further, all the information contained the biography section of Neely-1093 is accurate, including birth and death dates/locations and full middle name "Munro." Also, he had a PhD degree from the University of California, so the prefix of "Dr." on Neely-1716 is appropriate.
Thanks for your careful attention. I recall that Peter (and thus I) are only on the far periphery of your own genealogical interests!
Hugh Munro Neely
I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have yet to hear back from you. I hope you are well.
If I dont hear from you in the next week or so Ill assume you no longer wish to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to rejoin at any time via the G2G sign-up post.
On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the full list. I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!
We use Google groups for project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup, please submit a join request and we will get that approved as quickly as possible. We also ask that you check your followed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any discussions in G2G.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hardwork. If you have any questions please ask. I would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project!
Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

When creating a profile for a person born in the Netherlands could you please not assign a middle name? Dutch do not know the concept of middle name. Multiple given names are quite common, and they should all go into the proper first name field, ignoring the warning message by doing "Save anyway". Failing that such a profile get suggestion "749 Middle Name used in Netherlands". Currently 15 of your profiles have that suggestion, which I will fix.
