Birth
Barton Lincoln Eby was the second born child of John Eby and Caroline Weaver Eby, born on September 8, 1863. [1] He was born in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA.

Barton died at the age of 2 months and 16 days on November 24, 1863, in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA. [2]

The following was handwritten, in ink, on paper and pressed inside Caroline's bible.
Little Bartie has gone to rest
Up in heaven with angles blest
Cease to weep for tears are vain
Little Bartie is free from pain
