Biography

Anna Eby was born January 6, 1791. Anna was the second child of Christian Eby and Veronica Hershey Eby. Anna married Samuel Nissley who was born on June 24, 1792 and died September 8, 1868. Anna died May 5, 1867. [1]

They had the following children and grandchildren:

1. Henry b. Dec. 17, 1814, d. Sep. 28, 1852, m. Anna Hostetter. Grandchildren: Anna, David, Henry, Samuel, Catherine, Lovina, Harriet and John.

2. FANNIE b. June 10, 1816, d. Nov, 7, 1880, m. Samuel Snyder. Grandchildren: Jonas, Samuel, Christian, Anna Catherine, Fannie, Rudolph, Sarah, Lizzie and David.

3. SAMUEL (twin) b. December 25, 1818, d. ?, m. Anna K. Long. Grandchildren: Harriet, Jonas, Abraham, Samuel, Herman, Benjamin, Franklin, Ellen, Henry and John.

4. CHRISTIAN (twin) b. December 25, 1818, d. ?, m. Fannie Brenneman. Grandchildren: Henry, Samuel, Jonas, Anna, Catherine, Fannie, David and Ellen.

5. JONAS b. May 27, 1821, d. February 12, 1848, m. Never married.

6. BENJAMIN b. December 17, 1823, d. ?, m. Susan H. Stauffer. Grandchildren: Anna, Amos, Martin, David, Benjamin, Fannie and Mary.

7. CATHERINE b. November 1, 1826, d. ?, m. ?.

8. DAVID b. November 28, 1829, d. ?, m. Martha Rutt. Grandchildren: Menno, Amos, Elizabeth, Martha, David and Simon. [2]
