Biography

John was born in 1745 in Preston, Lancashire, England. He was the son of James Eccleston and Margery Unknown. On 12 Oct 1780 he married Mary Hunter. They had approx. 3 children. It is believed she died as on 24 Sep 1793 he married Elizabeth Abbott. They approx. 3 children. They lived in Preston throughout their lives. It was here he passed away in 1817.
