In 1850, Jesse and his family lived in Longswamp Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. By 1855 they had moved to Washington Township in the same county with Jesse's parents and Jesse took over all the farm work. See John Eck [Eck-528] for information about him in his father's will.
Jesse made his mark on his own will dated 22 Sep 1891. His estate went to his wife and after her death, all was to be sold and the proceeds equally divided among his five surviving children.
Jesse is buried at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Bally, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
