James was born in 1839. He passed away in 1863. James served in Illinois infantry, A company of the 63rd Regiment. [1]
James died in a Memphis, TN hospital during the civil war where he died from injuries he received in a railroad accident. Widow's pension file on March 16th, 1863. Minor child pension filing on Jul 20th, 1866. [2]
