EDEN v. EDEN AND POLLOCK. Francis Leonard Eden (for whom Mr. G. G. Watson appeared), in making application for dissolution of his marriage with Alice Myrtle Eden on the ground of her misconduct with one William Pollock, stated that he had married respondent in 1902, and had several times had trouble with her. He had instituted divorce proceedings twice previously, but had condoned the offences. His wife had admitted misconduct on several occasions. Evidence was given by Mr. and Mrs. Piercey that respondent had never made a secret of her relation with Pollock. The usual order was made. The correspondent is to pay the costs of the proceedings. Petitioner was given custody of the child of the marriage.[3]
LOCAL AND GENERAL
In the report of the divorce case, Eden v. Eden, it was stated that the petitioner (the husband), who was successful in the action, was given custody of a child of the marriage. It should be explained, however, that it was made clear in the evidence that there were two children of the marriage [4]
He married 2nd Catherine Doring in 1923 [5] After she passed away in 1933, he married 3rd Victoria Irvine McGregor in 1936 [6]
