Biography

Aunt Tena married her 2nd cousin, George Snider. They lived in Smiths Falls, Ontario, and after George died, and grandpa Edgar also died, Aunt Tena made a home for her mother, Tena Edgar. Aunt Tena was given a gold "pinkie" ring from her brother, Archie Edgar, who died in Cornwall where he was a lineman for Bell Telephone. He was electrocuted while working on a power pole. In 1962, Tena and her sister-in-law, May Edgar, travelled to Kamloops, B.C., for a visit, and while there, gave the ring to her nephew, James Edgar (Edgar-912). He continues to wear this ring.
