Biography
John was born about 1839. His marriage registration shows is name as Hamilton Agar, however his children's birth certificate show his name as Hamilton Edgar. When Hamilton married Anne he was a bachelor living in Lisnisk, Drumballyroney who worked as a weaver. His father name was given as Hugh Agar, also a weaver, although it is suspected he was Hugh Edgar.
