His 2nd wife, Ida May Tilden was born in Lucetta, Indiana. I had a bit of trouble locating it, I think because it no longer exists. I finally found it in Lippincott's New Gazetteer, c1911, J.B. Lippincott Company. It says, "a post-village of Fulton co., Ind. The banking point is Macy. Pop. 200." No idea what "post-village" or "banking point" mean. An Army post? There is a town called Macy in Miami Co., IN and Miami Co. borders on Fulton Co.
Have since been told that a post-village just means the village had a post office and banking point just means the nearest town with a bank.
Name
The photo on the profile had an inscription on the back by his daughter Lura referring to him as Will Edgerton. It's likely that is the name he usually went by.

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:
