p. 36: Gives his name as captain of an infantry unit. The section ("LOCAL MILITIA," beginning p. 34) states that Pawlet was among the most active towns in CT in organizing military forces. Also states (p. 36) that the infantry unit, of which Jebediah was one of the captains, was the oldest of these units.
p. 139: 4 Jul 1793, he subscribed to the support of Rev. John Grisworld as pastor of the First Congregational Church in Pawlet.
pp. 184-5: in 1803 removed to Moriah, N.Y., none of family settled in Pawlet, married #2 widow of Enos Clark of Middletown, lived there until her death. In old age, moved to live with son Dr. Joshua Edgerton, in western New York (no more specific location given). Died 1848, aged 86.
Note: Age at death would make his birth date incorrect.
