Biography
On July 7, 1909 (M), Lillian married Ernest Leonard Edgerton in Lancaster. Lillie was 20 and Presbyterian. Ernest was 26, Presbyterian, of Charlottenburg, and born on July 17, 1882 in Lapraire, Quebec to Thomas Edgerton and Susan Shortley.
The 1911 Census, Glengarry County, Charlottenburg, recorded Ernest, 28, Irish, a farmer, Lillian, 22, and George Edward, 1, on Lot 47 URR.
Their children were George who married Ruth Anna Robertson, Leonard, Gilbert, Lillian Alma who married Philip Flagler Boylen, and Morris.
On July 27, 1938, Lilly died and was buried in St. Andrew’s Pres. Church Cemetery, Lancaster Twp. In July, 1961, Ernest died and was buried with Lilly.
