Richard was born in 1765. He was the son of Richard Edgeworth and Anna Elers.[1][2]

He passed away in 1796.[3]

Richard (1764-1796) - married Elizabeth Knight (1772-1837) in 1798 had three sons, and one daughter, Anna Beddoes 1773-1824 was very fond of Richard, he was disinherited and went to live in America. He fell out with his father mainly due to the educational experiment going wrong as Richard Lovell Edgeworth tried out Rousseau’s educational ideas, encouraged by Thomas Day.

He died 19th August 1796 and was living in Anson County, North Caroline, USA and was buried locally at, Sneedsborough Cemetery (Ref Christina Colvin Bodleian Library Oxford)
