John served in Revolutionary War Apr 19 1775 as a Drummer with Capt Healy's Co and Col Larned's Regiment, Dec 1776 - Jan 21 1777 with Capt. Healle's co, Col Holman's regiment (also known as 5th Worcester County Militia Regiment), May 25 1778 in Dudley, Massachusetts. He joined Capt Greens Co, Col Denny's Regiment. Men raised from Capt. Healle's co, Col Holman's regiment to serve in the Continental Army for the term of 9 months as returned by Capt Samuel Green to Col Denny, dated Leicester, May 25 1778 [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
