Elizabeth Gertrude Edwards: daughter of Jehiel Edwards and Nancy (Seaman) Edwards (1821-1867).

In 1860, Elizabeth G (age 5) is living in Brookhaven, Suffolk, New York, with her father Jeheil (John) (age 40), her mother Nancy (age 39), and her siblings Ebert (age 13), Seaman Edwards (age 11), and John D (age 7). ^[1]

In 1865, the family consists of Jehiel (age 47), Nancy (age 43), Egbert (age 16), Seaman (age 14), John (age 11), Elizabeth Gertrude (age 10), and Jarvis Milton (age 4), living in Brookhaven, Suffolk, New York. ^[2]

In 1867, Elizabeth's mother Nancy died, and in 1866, her brother Egbert died. In 1870, Elizabeth's father Jehiel (age 50) has remarried, his wife is Martha (age 45). Mrs. Gertrude E King died at age 80 on 2 Apr 1937, in Springfield, Massachusetts. ^[6]
