Charles was born Nov. 2, 1874/1875/1876 in Vance County, North Carolina[1] and died Oct. 29, 1927 in Sandy Creek, Vance County, North Carolina.[2][3]
He married Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rooker on December 25, 1898 in Henderson, Vance County, North Carolina.[4]
