Biography
Loren was born in 1846. He was the son of Francis Edwards and Lucretia Gaylord. Loren enlisted at Wyanette, and served in Company "F," 34th Illinois Infantry. He married (first) Martha J West in 1868; he married (second) Hanna Dora Vaughn. He passed away in 1928, and was buried at Murray Cemetery, Murray, Clarke County, Iowa.[1]
