Biography
Charles Edwards was born about 1861, probably in either Sullivan County or Orange County, New York. He was the son of Alexander Edwards and Harriet (Simpson) Edwards Finn.
In 1870 his family was in Elmira, Chemung County, New York. His father died that year in a Train accident and his mother married again to Timothy Finn. [1]
