Cornelia Ann Edwards was born about 1807. She was the daughter of Benajah and Laurany Sarah (Weller) Edwards. [1]
Cornelia married Robert T. Lynch about 1825. Her brother Garret married Robert’s sister Esther Lynch. In 1830, they were in Thompson, New York. [2] [3]
Their children were: George Lynch, Charles Lynch, Elizabeth Ann (Lynch) Lawrence, Sarah Lynch, Daniel Lynch, and Eli Lynch. [4]
In 1855, Robert and Cornelia were in Fallsburg, Sullivan County, New York, with son Daniel, age 11. In 1860, they were listed in Thompson, NY. [5] [6]
It was believed that Cornelia died sometime before 1865 when her husband had remarried and was in Elmira, New York. However, in 1870, Cornelia Lynch was in Colfax, Michigan with her grandson, Riley Lynch, the son of Eli. [7]
Family researchers say she is buried in Bridgeville Cemetery, Sullivan County, New York. [8]
