Samuel was born about 1885. He is the son of Samuel Edwards, Quarryman, and Margaret Unknown. Postman. Married Elizabeth Jane Baker, 14 Jun 1916 at The English Presbyterian Church, Saltney Ferry, Saltney, District of Hawarden, County of Flint, N Wales. Witnesses at wedding: James Platt & Katie Baker. Samuel & Elizabeth were both 30 yrs old when married. Bachelor & Spinster. Family photograph is printed on back: Samuel W Edwards, Broockside (should be Brookside) Cottage, Corwen.
