Biography

Cyril was born on 17 Feb 1921 in Cleveland OH. He was the first of three sons of Cyril Edwards and Janet Lewis^[1]. The family moved from Ohio to Michigan in the mid 1920s where his two younger siblings were born.

He appears in the 1930 US Census^[2] in Grosse Pointe Farms MI with his parents and two younger brothers; he was about 9yo.

The 1940 US Census^[3] shows Cyril living with his parents and two siblings in Grosse Pointe MI. He is listed as about 18.

Cyril married Julia Ann McMahon on 4 Nov 1950 in Tulsa, OK^[4]. They had four sons and a daughter.

He passed away on 2 Jul 2007 while living in Royal Oak MI^[1].
