Biography

Daisy Pearl Edwards was born at Melancthon, Ontario on June 9, 1903. ^[1] She is a daughter of George Henry Edwards and Louisa Roome who had married at Osprey, Ontario on March 18, 1891. ^[2] Daisy appears to be their last child.

Sometime after 1911, the family moved to Saskatchewan and settled on a homestead at township 19, Range 18 2 west, near Regina.

Daisy Pearl Edwards married Arthur Labossiere at Regina, SK on April 10, 1922. She is a daughter of George Edwards and Louisa Roome from Ontario. He was the eighth of 12 children and the fifth of six sons of Abraham Labossiere and Marie Domiltilde Emma Bissonet.

Daisy and Arthur moved to St. Boniface, Manitoba some time after 1921. They may have had their marriage blessed in a Catholic Church there. [See BMS2000 record under sources].
