I have lived in Virginia my whole life, and my family has been here for generations - I've traced some branches back to 17th century Virginia. Some of my particular areas of interest are the counties of Bedford, Botetourt, Clarke, Fairfax, Frederick, Grayson, Loudoun, Page, Roanoke, Smyth, Tazewell, and Wythe.
(Also, I like stickers.)

Have you considered participating in one of WikiTree's Connect-A-Thons? It's a great opportunity to add new profiles, whether they are extended family members or someone who fits into of one of your projects. The next one will run from Friday, April 22nd to Monday, April 25th.
I want to personally invite you to join the Mid-Atlantic Team because of your Virginia roots and your interest in Virginia cemetery research. If you are interested in participating, you can sign up in the G2G forum registration post (https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1392037) and add another badge to your collection. You are not limited to adding profiles for only this region, of course. Hope you'll consider joining the fun!
Thank you for your 228 contributions to the November Sourcerers Challenge! That's quite an achievement, and a great step forward for the health of our One Tree. Congratulations!
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Good morning Marie, hope all is well. Thank-you for adding Elizabeth Shenk as the daughter of Elon Shenk. If you have a closer relationship to Elon than I do, I can take my name off his profile, and you can adopt it. He is only my 3rd cousin, 2 generations removed. I am currently working on the Baker Family History, and Elon and his daughter Elizabeth are listed in the book. (Baker History..... Johnson, Baker, Johnson, 1964) Also if there are any other profiles that I have created that you would like to be the profile manager for, just let me know. You have a good rest of the day.
Hi Rodney! Elon Shenk is my 2x great grandfather (Elizabeth Shenk is my great grandmother) so that would be appreciated, as I have a decent amount of research on that line. I will keep that in mind (regarding other profiles) and let you know if I see any - hope you have a great day as well!
