Brice Edwards was the only known son to have stayed in Virginia. Question is did he move or did the county lines move. Although Brice Edwards seems to be an unusual name, I have found quite a few and have no idea how they link to each other.

Edwards-13160 and Edwards-4989 do not represent the same person because: Different Parents. Ambrose may have had a son named Brice, but the one in this profile is the son of Isham Edwards Sr.

this is not the Brice Edwards who was living in Warren, Missouri in 1850 with his son John Ambrose Barksdale Edwards and born in Albemarle, Va. or the one who was living there in 1840.

That Brice Edwards married Martha Barksdale in 1823.

Not the Brice Edwards who married Martha Barksdale and was living in Missouri in 1840 and 1850 where he died a widow living with his son John Ambrose Barksdale Edwards.

That Brice Edwards married Martha Barksdale in 1823.

You failed to cite your primary sources for making this Brice Edwards the son of Ambrose Edwards Jr.. Much research has been conducted on this family, including my own. So you will need to provide original primary source material to support your changes. Otherwise this type of haphazard change will be corrected
