Florence Crisp (Lucy) Edwards was born in 1874 in Bostobrick, Bellingen, New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of Edward Edwards and Mary Briggs. Her Birth Certificate records her as Lucy!^[1] Records don't reveal if she was known as Lucy or if her First Name was incorrectly entered but her Marriage and Death Records clearly show her as Florence, as does her Father's Death Certificate which records her Middle Name as Crisp, spelled Crips, but note her brother Frederick Cecil's Middle Name was also spelled incorrectly on that record. Her older half brother George also had the Middle Name of Crisp.
