Research notes
There seems to be some confusion. Phillip Corin Edwards, son of John Edwards & Elizabeth, was baptised on 12 February 1809 in Gulval, Cornwall, England.[2]
There is also a Philip, son of Philip Edwards & Jenifred, baptised on 22 June 1806 in Germoe, Cornwall, England.[3]
I cannot find a Philip Edwards baptised 22 April 1806 at Gulval. I have checked https://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/ In 1806 for Edwards baptisms I cannot find any child of John;only child with Mother Jennifer I have found is Day Month 13-Jul Year 1806 Parish Circuit Or Chapel Gulval Forename Ann Surname EDWARDS Sex Dau Age Or Date Of Birth Father Forename James Mother Forename Jennifer https://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/search-database/more-info/?t=baptisms&id=1465706
