Albert Edward Edwards was born in about 1877 in Ardwick, Manchester. He was the son of Samuel and Margaret Edwards. He was christened on 4 Apr 1877 at St Matthew's Church in Ardwick. His father's occupation was given as brick layer, and the family's address as 35 Ross Street.
Albert married Alice Wilson on 11 Oct 1902 at St John's Church in Blackpool, Lancashire. Both were 26 years old, and neither had been married before. Albert was a chemist living at 20 Lansdowne Crescent, Blackpool; Alice lived at 32 East Topping Street, Blackpool. Their fathers were named as Samuel Edwards (bricklayer) and William Kendall (deceased farmer). The witnesses were Samuel Edwards and Jane Kendall.
Their daughter Fanny Elizabeth was born in 1903 in Fylde district.[1]

Albert did not marry Alice Wilson. His wife was Lily Elizabeth Kendall. Other details about the marriage are correct, except Albert was a chef at the time of marriage. I have a copy of their marriage certificate.
