Private Jeremiah Eells served with Col. Philip Burr Bradley's Battalion, Wadsworth's Brigade, Continental Army during the American Revolution.

25 May1775 - 8 Oct 1775, Private, Fifth Regiment, Colonel David Waterbury, 9th company, Captain Nehemiah Beardsley.[3][2] (Page 70, Listed as Jeremiah Ellis)

Private 12 June 1776 - 16 Nov 1776 , Col. Philip Burr Bradley's Battalion, Wadsworth's Brigade, Continental Army, American Revolution, Captain Samuel Keeler's Company, (his father Jeremiah Beard Eells was Ensign of the same company)[1][3] Captured Fort Washington .[2][3] Prisoner for about a year.[3] Prisoner on Prison Ship Jersey.[3][3] Invalid, wounded in hand.[3][3]

Pension 1818 Connecticut, 1820 New York.[3]
