Biography

Electious and Erastus were twins... each having the other's given name as their middle name.

Their parents moved the family to from Connecticut to Columbiana county, Ohio in 1817 when the twin boys were about age 9.

Electious had 1 wife and a dozen children in East Fairfield. He became a preacher like his father. (See http://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/eells/187/ )

Erasmus had 4 wives (2 dying in childbirth) and 11 children. This undertaker lived in the village of New Lisbon (renamed Lisbon in 1895) from 1924 until his death in 1892, 20 years later than his twin. A reasonable biography is posted to his FindAGrave memorial.
