Biography

Nathaniel Eells was born 26 Nov 1677, a son of Ann Lenthal & Samuel Eells. The location of his birth is not yet certain. Whereas the original version of this profile represented Milford, Connecticut, as his birthplace, his parents were of Newport, Rhode Island, and Newbury, Massachusetts, respectively.

Nathaniel Eells graduated Harvard College 1699. He became an ordained minister at Scituate, Massachusetts, 14 Jun 1704 [1].

He married Mrs. Hannah North 12 October 1704 in Hingham, Massachusetts [2]. Per the Wheeler History of Stonington (1900) they had 9 children:

  3. John Eells, b. 23 Jan 1709
