Biography
Comely Fite Egbert was born in 1848 in Caldwell County, Kentucky, United States.[1] He was the son of Comely Egbert and Margaret Carter.[1] In the 1850 census, Comely F Egbert was recorded as 2-years old living with his parents and older siblings: Nicholas W, Lewis L, Paulina, John M, Whitwell J and Polly A Egbert. [1]
He was first married 4 April 1867 in Princeton, Caldwell, Kentucky to Rachel E. Carter.[2]
He was married a second time on 7 April 1882 in Robertson County, Tennessee to M.W. Dever.[3]
He died 2 August 1931 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.[4]
