Allardus Egberts Nicolai was born on December 23, 1806, in Oudega, Friesland, Netherlands, the son of Egbert Roels Nicolai and Merkjen/Murkje Roels.[1] He was baptized on January 25, 1807, in Oudega, Friesland, Netherlands.[1]
He married Hendrikje Germeraad, the daughter of Hans Willem Germeraad and Maria Bleeker, on May 15, 1836, in Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands.[2]
