Glennis Gene "Pete" Egger was born on December 6, 1945 at Brownwood Texas.[1] He was the son of Herman Glen Egger and Delois Irene Wilkins.
"Pete" married Sharon Taylor on August 19, 1965 at Gatesville Texas.
He Passed away on June 22, 1999 at Gatesville Texas[2] and was laid to rest in Restland Cemetery at Gatesville Texas.[3]
Glen G. (Pete) Egger died June 22 in a local hospital. He was 53. Funeral services were held Thursday at Scott's Funeral Home with the Rev. Royce Cockrell and Gary Paxton officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery. Mr. Egger was born Dec. 6, 1945, in Brownwood to Hermon Glen and Lois Wilkins Egger. He attended school in Flat. On Aug. 19, 1965, he married Sharon Taylor and they made their home near Flat. He was the owner of Industrial Rigging Service in Round Rock. He was a farmer and rancher in the Gatesville area. He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church and the Gatesville Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Egger of Flat; his parents, Hermon and Lois Egger of Flat; grandmother, Ollie Egger of Gatesville; a son, Clinton Egger of Flat; and two sisters, Cleda Fay Hale and Wanda Berry of Gatesville. The family suggests memorials be made to Gateway Baptist Church.
