He died in 1610 and was buried on 7 October 1610 at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich. His occupation was given as fishmonger.[1]
Research Notes
Anthony was born before the commencement of the Settrington parish register.[2] There are no register entries for marriage, children or burial at Settrington. However, there is a burial in Norwich for the year given so it seems likely he went to Norwich with his brother Sylvester. There is a marriage of Anthony Egelston and ?Cyneta Richardson on 7 December 1595 at Drayton, about 7 miles from Norwich.[3] The bride's name has been transcribed Cyneta but the original looks like it could be Agneta (Agnes) or perhaps Gyneta. Anthony would have been 40 at this time so it may be a second marriage.
