Family #95 in the 1798 Grimm census.
He is not listed in the 1775 Grimm census, but his parents are named as some of the first settlers in the Grimm 1767 census. Most likely his father died between 1771-1775, and the family lived with others or were inadvertently omitted from the 1775 census. Samuel appears in the 1798 census with a connection to his neighbors the Waags, who were documented as living next to each other in the 1767 census, through the marriage of one of his sons. The families still lived just a few houses apart from where they lived in 1767.
