Family #82 in the 1767 Grimm census.
1767 Grimm Census
He is not mentioned in the 1775 Grimm census, but that may be an inadvertent omission, or it may be because he moved to another colony. However, Samuel Erhlich was born in 1771; he was almost certainly Johann Ehrlich's son. It could be that Johann Erhlich passed away between 1771 and 1775, and his wife and children lived with someone else until his sons were old enough to live on their own. If his wife remarried, she may have been listed in the 1775 census under a different last name.
The Ehrlichs and the Waags lived next to each other at the time of the 1767 census, and Samuel Erhlich's son married a Waag. For that time period, it seems almost certain that the Ehrlich's did not move away and remained continuously in Grimm in the same home. See Jakob Ehrlich.
