Johann Heinrich Andreas Eickmeyer was born on November 22, 1833 in Hanover, Region Hannover, Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen), Germany. He immigrated to the United States of America about 1854. He married Johanna Ladwig on April 21, 1867, in Winona, Minnesota. They made their home in Deer Park, Washington, United States. He died at the age of 87 in the Lewis and Clark Sanitorium on April 16, 1920, in Spokane, Washington, United States and was buried in Wild Rose Cemetery near his home in Wayside Township, Spokane County, Washington.
