Biography

Boyce was born in 1752. He was the son of Boyce Eidson and Frances Shelton. He married Frances Arthur in 1776,[1] they had 13 children:

  3. John Nelson Sr. (1779-1860)
  4. Hannah (1780-1858)
  5. Elizabeth (1782-1847)
  6. Barnabus Arthur (1783-1840)
  7. Nancy (1784-1855)
  8. Gross Scruggs (1786-1844)
  9. James Deshea (1792-1840)
  10. Frances Ann (1793-1869)
  11. Mildred "Milly" (1793-1870)
  12. Mary Jane (1794-1880)
  13. Sarah (1795-1865)

He died in 1816 in Bedford, Virginia.[2]
