Wesley was born in 1920. He was the son of Emery Eisenhauer.

Military Service

Wesley Eisenhauer served in the 342nd Fighter Squadron, which was part of the 348th Fighter Group of the US Army Air Forces in World War II. His service was detailed in his obituary as follows:

He was a member of the National Guard and was activated with his entire unit during World War II. He entered the Army Air Forces on June 4, 1942, and served in the air offensive in Japan, Luson, Ryukyus and the southern Philippines. He received the Asiatic-Pacific service medal, Good Conduct medal, Philippines Liberation ribbon, World War II Victory medal and the American Service medal. He was honorably discharged as a technical sergeant on Dec. 5, 1945, with the 342nd Fighter Squadron.
