Family history lists 7 children. This family was raised along the French/German border and were on both sides as the border changed. Christian Eissel served in the French Army. He served as a decorated Sergeant (cavalina) under Napoleon in Italy and Russia. He was also the Chief of Police of Birkenfeld.
